grace.pngGrace Notes as musical notations are ornaments of melody that appear in smaller characters. They are not an essential part of music, but surpluses. They are played lightly, without accent, and barely be heard. The accent goes to the note to which the grace notes belong. We are such grace notes. Small, inessential, secondary but chosen nonetheless. Just like grace notes that exist only in connection to a principal note, we exist only in connection to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, appointed to do what we do.
